  Mexico and the North Free Trade Agreement in 2018 By the end of January 2018 the sixth round of conversations for the renegotiation of the North Free Trade Agreement will be held. And even if the parties have agreed to maintain the negotiations confident, there is a lot of speculation regarding the attitude of the new U.S. administration and how flexible would they be while negotiating. The protectionist and isolationist posture from the current U.S. president makes many Mexicans and policymakers think deeply about the value of Mexico to the U.S. As a Mexican, I dare to give a voice to my people.
